How would Jesus treat women if He lived
in this world today?
If Jesus was a co-worker....He would see women as coequals while treating them as
ladies.
If Jesus was a parent....He would model the type of spouse His children should
eventually be and the type of person they should marry.
If Jesus was a husband....He would be devoted to meeting emotional needs, easing
the day-to-day demands, and pursuing a joyful friendship with his spouse.
If Jesus was a pastor....He would minister to every class of women. Women would serve
His church where He had spiritually gifted them.
If Jesus was an advertising executive....He would not use the printed words, the voice,
the face, or the body of a woman in any immodest, sensual, or seductive way.
If Jesus was a movie/TV/music executive....He would present virtuous women as honorable
and dishonorable woman as shameful.
If Jesus was an internet search engine executive....He would not allow a search that
would satisfy any voyeuristic or exploitative desire.
If Jesus was a chat room designer....He would never allow a child/adolescent to have a
conversation without their parent involved.
If Jesus was a car mechanic/sales manager/owner....He would be honest, thorough, careful,
and helpful.
If Jesus was a boyfriend....He would begin training His thinking to serve, cherish, and
protect within the privilege of that very special and unique relationship.
If Jesus was a school teacher....He would teach the girls the vastness of their minds and
inspire them to reach for the highest stars academically.
If Jesus was a college professor....He would emphasize the vocation of motherhood first
and vocational career second.
